I plan to update this review within the next couple weeks with photos and maybe a video if I can make the time for it, but this is a great bag! I have had it about 2 months now and have really had a chance to use it!

As advertised, it resists water. (I have not submerged it in a bucket of water of course, it isn't a dry bag). I have had it conveniently out in the rain a number of times ranging from sprinkling to pouring and in running from my door to my car, it has gotten decently wet, yet the contents and interior have remained dry. In addition to the rain, I have put an ice cold water bottle in the side pocket which than sweated an exceeding amount in the hot humidity and the interior remained completely dry

This is especially important as I use it to carry around my crochet projects and wet yarn, though it can dry, becomes exceptionally hard to work with. It has a lot of different pockets to help seperate my tools and notions and my yarn. The zippered pocket is the one I use the most as it is the easiest to reach and the most secure for my small stitch markers and needles. I have not carried my laptop in the laptop pocket yet, but the size of it looks like it would work as it fits many of my papers and patterns I carry around. It is not padded very much, so though this bag advertises being able to travel with you laptop, I would always lay it down and pick it up with extra care and not swing it around because the laptop would not have tons of protection. The other 4 interior pockets are tricky because they are half the width of the bag but go down the majority of the height of the bag. When I update this review I will try to point that out more in photos and a video. This means for me, it is hard to fit my whole hand in, so anything I put in that falls to the bottom of the pocket which is beyond my fingers' reach, is hard to retrieve later.
The exterior zippered pockets are great, I love them and use them frequently! accessible, great size, also haven't noticed them get wet.

The zippers are strong and look and feel to be good quality, thought the lip of the bag going around the zipper can make it difficult the find and grab the zipper sometimes when you go to close it up. The straps are padded and comfortable though be advised this is not an ergonomic bag and wearing it for longer periods of time have affected my posture causing back pain and soreness. Having heavier things in the bag though did not feel terribly uncomfortable on my shoulders.

The part that bothers me most about this bag is the way the strap adjustment pieces were sewn on to either lengthen or shorten the shoulder straps. They are upside down compared to every other bag I've ever owned and that can sit uncomfortable under my arms. I find that I also bump them easier to loosen them, and find it more difficult to tighten them because you have to pull up instead of down. I'm not sure if that is the design on a flaw on just mine, but I don't love it.

So is this the best bag I've ever owned, no. But would I be happy to recommend it to a friend, yes.
