Internal gears are the gears which have their teeth inside cylinders or cones and are frequently used in planetary gear mechanisms. Screw gears are a type of helical gears (cylindrical gears) used between skewed axes, which neither intersect nor are parallel to each other. Screw gears are unsuitable for high-load operations and also need enough lubrication because they transmit motion and rotation by sliding.
