Product Description

Redispersible polymer powder (RDP) is produced by spray-drying a special water-based emulsion, mostly based on vinyl-acetate-ethylene (VAE). This film acts as an organic binder, gluing together different substrates, reinforcing mortar structure, and providing excellent adhesion at cement or gypsum-based dry mixed mortar substrate interfaces.

Also known as Redispersible Emulsion Powder, RDP powder, VAE powder, Latex powder, Dispersible Polymer Powder, Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) is a redispersible emulsion latex powder produced via spray-drying special water-based emulsion, primarily composed of vinyl acetate and ethylene.

After spray drying, VAE emulsion becomes a white powder, copolymer of ethyl and vinyl acetate. It is free-flowing and easily emulsifies. Upon dispersion in water, it forms a stable emulsion. This powder offers great convenience in handling and storage and can mix with other powder materials such as cement and sand. It also functions effectively as a binder in building materials and adhesives.

Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) quickly dissolves in water, forming an emulsion.
