How to Save Money When Buying Spline Sleeve

I have a number of things with splines that I'd like to make my own ends or adapters for without hacking them all up. Is there a catalog of splined tubing & sleeves somewhere that I can browse for different tooth/spacing or am I engaged in too much wishful thinking?

Primarily I am trying to mix and match factory steering column parts from different manufacturers and I don't want to hack them up to do it. I'd like to find female spline "sleeves" to weld together to make couples.

I've only run across jobs with these twice, but they are a MAJOR PITA.

I've tried everything. Hammering only warps the frame. You can 'crush' the spline groove, but that leaves dents in the frame. To my knowledge, there isn't rubber spline wide enough to effectively hold the screen in place.

Seems that the only way to actually get the spline back in is to use a wrench to press a hex key into the groove, and even then its a crapshoot on whether or not the spline stays in.
